ESPN Diabetes 5K to be held at the Landings Golf Club on May 8th, 2021

ESPN Savannah WSEG AM 1400 and FM 104.3 in partnership with Fleet Feet Savannah and the Talki Foundation are excited to announce the ESPN Diabetes 5K will be held on May 8th at The Landings Golf Club in Savannah,  Georgia.

The fourth annual 5K raises awareness and funding for diabetes, along with service dogs and their handlers.

Working directly with the Curtis V Foundation Primary Health Care’s indigent insulin fund, funds raised support Savannah area low-income diabetics.

Additionally, The SD Gunner Fund, a Georgia-based 501c nonprofit, will be added as a recipient in 2021.

The SD Gunner Fund was created to assist veterans, exceptional children, and first responders with the financial expense of owning much needed service and therapy animals.

The Landings Club on Skidaway Island is a private luxury golf club dedicated to providing members with an active lifestyle and resort-class amenities in a vacation setting.
