The “Coach” Karl DeMasi has been teaching and coaching for the past 35 years on all levels of academia and athletics. One of his hobbies has been writing, announcing and talking about sports. DeMasi has been involved in the Savannah Area sports scene since 1995, and he created the high school magazine “The Prep Sports Report” in 2000. In 2010, the “Coach” started broadcasting The Karl DeMasi Sports Report. The show can be heard “LIVE” every Saturday from 9 AM until 11 AMon the radio- ESPN Radio Savannah & Hilton Head AM 1400 & 104.3 FM
Melissa Maikos is a former Boston College Eagle where she played softball. After college she began covering sports on television with stints in Boston, Fargo, and Tallahassee before landing at WTOC in Savannah. Melissa spent 4 years with WTOC covering local sports, hosting tailgate shows and spotlighting local teams and athletes all around the Coastal Empire. She now teaches English full time at Alfred E. Beach High School. In her off time she enjoys teaching aerobics classes at the YMCA, competing in tough mudders, crossfit, and soaking up sun at the beach with her 3 dogs and pet pig Pee Wee.
