Watch: Ernest Jones snags an interception in first NFL start
Ernest Jones made his first career NFL start this past weekend as the Rams took on Houston.
Jones, a 3rd-round pick out of South Carolina in this past draft, had played sparingly leading up to the Texans, with most of his snaps coming on special teams.
Jones took over the starting inside linebacker job after the Rams traded away starter Kenny Young.
The former Ware County Gator didn’t disappoint. Jones tallied 9 tackles, .5 sacks, and in an interception.
