Series History: This matchup is a battle every time these two teams have met and the series is tied at 3-3. The last time the Cowboys and the Jaguars met was in November of 2014 where Dallas walked away with a 31-17 win. Jacksonville won 35-17 almost 8 years ago on the 31st of October in the year of 2010. Yes I said that like I was reading a scroll for a king.

Players to watch:

Jaguars

Offense: Blake Bortles – The reason I call him Blake “the snake” Bortles is because this man runs for first downs. He is second in the league is rushing yards for a QB with 166 yards which is 1 more yard than Cam Newton. That’s with Blake rushing 14 times less. He is my player to watch because he might not seem like much until he takes off on 3rd down and 5 and gets the first down.

Cowboys

Offense: Ezekiel Elliot – Zeke is leading the league in rushing yards with 408 yard but this is not the reason I am picking him. I am picking Elliot because the rest of the team is horrible. You have Cole Beasley leading your team in receiving and your QB probably wouldn’t start in the arena football league. “Feed Zeke” will be shouted in AT&T Stadium and not “Dak Attack” since they are regretting letting go of Tony Romo.

Jaguars win if: The whole team doesn’t let the whole Texas football atmosphere get to them. Playing in Arlington is very underrated compared to other NFL home fields. This fanbase loves their Cowboys and will make it hard for both sides of the Jags to function. Jalen and AJ should have a field day playing against one of the worst QBs in the league statistically.

Cowboys win if: Ezekiel Elliott plays RB, QB, WR, CB, DT, and coaches…… But on a serious note this team has a great defense and will need to punish the Jags offense and that means taking away Blake Bortles security blanket that is T.J. Yeldon and the run game. Dak has to play better because as of right now my mother who just had open heart surgery could suit up and do a better job than Prescott. Dak is 3rd in the NFL in time to throw the ball with 3.13 seconds so I do not want to hear that the O-line isn’t doing their job. Play good defense and hand the ball off to Zeke so you can win this game at home in October, because there is nothing better than Texas football in the Fall.
