Benedictine quarterback, and Auburn commit, Holden Geriner is preparing for a massive matchup with 5-A power Ware County. Geriner spent the weekend in Pennsylvania, taking in the White Out at Penn State as the No. 10 Nittany Lions took down the No. 22 Auburn Tigers.

He joined ESPN Coastal on Monday to recap his trip and preview the game against Ware County.

On experiencing the White Out at Penn State:

“I thought It was cool when Penn State was on offense the crowd was kind of quiet, but when they were on defense it was extremely hectic for the other team.”

“It’s insane, just having 110,000 fans screaming and yelling. It’s nerve-racking, but at the same time it kind of fuels you. It’s a really cool environment. Being able to experience that, and cheer on the team I’m going to be playing for in a couple of months, was incredible. Just being able to experience that and experience the White Out was a once in a lifetime experience.”

His thoughts on Brian Harsin and Mike Bobo through three weeks:

“I’m very impressed with their offense. Both of their philosophies, I feel like they mesh really well together. I really like what they’re doing on offense. They’re in the shotgun a lot, but obviously you have to be able to run the ball in the SEC. Having Tank Bigsby back there is awesome. Again, I really like what they’re doing on offense and really enjoy watching them.”

Geriner has led the Cadets to a 2-2 start, completing 59% of his passes for 749 yards, 7 touchdowns, and 1 interception.
