All of the proceeds from the fundraiser will be used to support the programs and initiatives of the Boys & Girls Club of Bulloch County, which impact over 1,000 local youth.
A variety of admission options are available in terms of seating arrangements and opportunities to meet Smart and Pollack. There will also be a silent auction and raffle. Smart is 21-7 in two seasons at Georgia, leading the Bulldogs to an SEC Championship and the College Football Playoff in 2017. Prior to coming to Athens, he spent nearly a decade on staff at Alabama and was also previously with the NFL’s Miami Dolphins, LSU, Florida State and Valdosta State in addition to earlier stints at Georgia. As a player, Smart was a defensive back for the Bulldogs and led the team in interceptions twice.
Before becoming a national media analyst, Pollack was one of the most decorated players in SEC history. He was a three-time first-team All-American at defensive end and a two-time SEC Player of the Year. Pollack won the Hendricks Award twice, the Bednarik and Lombari Awards and the Lott Trophy during his career. Pollack was selected in the first round of the 2005 NFL Draft. Now, he is one of the leading college football personalities for ESPN.
