Queen Has Spoken Blog: Mock Draft 2.0

- Arizona Cardinals – Nick Bosa, DE, OSU. The Cardinals do not need a DE but passing on this caliber of a player would be just down right dumb.
- San Francisco 49ers – Josh Allen, EDGE, Kentucky. The 49ers desperately need defense and the number one spot on defense they need to fix is the edge.
- New York Jets – Rashan Gary EDGE, Michigan. The Jets need help at pass rushing and Gary who was a stud at Michigan can help them right away. At 6 foot 5 inches and 283 lbs this grown man can move at a 4.7. Greg Williams is the new DC and he runs the 4-3. Which mean Gary should be the best pick to fit their scheme right away.
- Oakland Raiders – Quinnen Williams, DT, Alabama. The Raiders have three first round picks and since they seem to be sticking with Carr they will look to the defense. Williams is one of best DT in the draft so they will happily take him.
- Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Greedy Williams, CB, LSU. The Bucs need a lot of help and they really need a safety. Williams isn’t a safety but they also need a corner so he can play corner and a little bit of safety.
- New York Giants – Dwayne Haskins, QB, OSU. Not much to say about this. Eli Manning sucks and they needs a guy who can utilize the weapons around him.
- Jacksonville Jaguars – Kyler Murray, QB, Oklahoma – The Jaguars needs 2 players and that is QB and WR. If the Jags do not get Foles or Bridgewater then they should get Murray if he is still there. Bortles is not what Jacksonville was hoping for even though the only help he got was from Fournette.
- Detroit Lions – Ed Oliver, DT, Houston. Lions need defense really bad and at all positions. Corner would be first but since Greedy is gone they also need a DT and Oliver is a great player to boost that weak defense.
- Buffalo Bills –Jonah Williams, OT, Alabama. Bills are always looking for help in order to protect their young QB. OT with the 9th and in the 2nd round a WR would help.
- Denver Broncos – Greg Little, OT, Ole Miss. Since the Broncos got Joe Flacco this team needs to help protect the old man. Denver’s O line was horrible and Boles has been a bust since coming in the league. Little is 6’6” and 325 so size isn’t a problem despite his name.
- Cincinnati Bengals – Devin White, LB, LSU. The Bengals need a lot of help in many places. If any of the offensive tackle. I have two gone in the top 10 and if they are still available they should get one of them. If not then they need an LB pretty bad and White would help Geno and company.
- Green Bay Packers – Clelin Ferrell, DE, Clemson. Clelin Ferrell has it all. He has played in big games and can attack the edge and disrupt a play in a blink of an eye.
- Miami Dolphins –Drew Lock, QB, Missouri. Ryan Tannehill has not been the night in shining armor the Phins expected. Miami should be happy enough to grab Lock even though some people think he inaccuracy issues could follow him to the NFL.
- Atlanta Falcons – Dexter Lawrence, DT, Clemson. Atlanta needs a big man like Lawrence on the line to help out a dwindling defense. He is quick for a man of his size and this would make 2 Clemson players taken already so that tells you how good that defense was…. Just ask Alabama.
- Washington Redskins – Daniel Jones, QB, Duke. Daniel is a QB coming out of the woodwork and is impressing some NFL teams. He is a smart kid and has a very quick game but the Skins need a QB now since Alex Smiths future is in question.
- Carolina Panthers – Cody Ford, OT, Oklahoma. Cam Newton and company need help on that O line and with a rare abundance of tackles in this draft they are thankful to have Ford. WR is also a need but you can’t pass up this guy.
- Cleveland Browns – DK Metcalf, WR, Ole Miss. The Browns needs all the help they can get for Baker Mayfield. A lot of people say that they need an OT. IF those three guys I named before are gone then this is the only pick that makes sense and get an OT in the 2nd.
- Minnesota Vikings – Montez Sweat, OLB, Miss. State. An outside linebacker is on the list of the Vikings. They do need some offensive line help but the players who are left should still be there in the 2nd round so I wouldn’t recommend reaching for a lower tackle or guard.
- Tennessee Titans – DeAndre Baker, CB, Georgia. The Titans are in a market for a good corner and a few more pieces to help out the up and down Titans. If they can find a WR they really like I would jump on it but they definitely need a CB and Baker is one of the best in this draft.
- Pittsburgh Steelers – Byron Murphy, CB, Washington. Murphy is a very talented CB. He is a little smaller like DeAndre Baker but he can cover the field and can play zone and man. Also for being a lighter CB her hits like a thunderbolt and makes his opponents feel his presence.
- Seattle Seahawks – Jawaan Taylor, OT, Florida. If you have to ask why they draft an offensive linemen with this pick then you need to go watch a Seattle game. Russell Wilson is always running for his life and they did get better in 2018 but they still need to keep building. Jawaan is a great pass blocker and has an even more impressive IQ AND he can get to the secondary quickly. Taylor is the most underrated offensive lineman in this draft.
- Baltimore Ravens, A.J. Brown, WR, Ole Miss. Flacco is gone and Lamar Jackson is at the helm for the Raven and that means you need a QB friendly WR. Jackson has been running more than Baltimore wants to getting him a bigger guy to fight for the ball and have after contact skills and Brown is your guy.
- Houston Texans, T.J. Hockenson, TE, Iowa. I know the Texans need some offensive line but I think this draft is so full of them that they can fine plenty after the first round. Which is weird because usually we are in short demand in that category. They also need a tight end and T.J. Hockenson is the best in the draft and it helps that he is pretty good at blocking and catching the ball. You could actually go with the other Iowa TE also who is Noah Fant so either way get the guy from Iowa.
- Oakland Raiders, Kelvin Harmon, WR, NC State. A lot of people would rank Marquise Brown above Harmon but Harmon produced with a shaky QB. Brown didn’t have the strongest hands and also had a Heisman winner throwing him the ball. Kelvin rarely ever double caught the ball and held on with great strength. The size helps a lot too.
- Philadelphia Eagles, Josh Jacobs, RB, Alabama. Josh Jacobs just lands right in the laps of the Eagles and he is the most NFL ready running back in this draft. He is a very smart runner plus has a vision that allows him to do thing most backs cant do. Also he was the SEC championship MVP against the very good Georgia Bulldogs so yeah he can play against high caliber defenses and be successful.
- Indianapolis Colts, Jeffery Simons, DT, Miss State. Simons dropped a lot because of his injury to his knee which is being called a torn ACL. Colts need some help on the defensive line and when Simmons gets healthy he can have an impact. Gap penetration is his specialty so that helps in both the run and passing game.
- Oakland Raiders, Deionte Thompson, S, Alabama. Deionte has some discipline problems and will need to be calm on the field and not jump the gun like he is known to do sometimes. He is a ballhawk while playing zone and with having KC and LA in their division they need to shut down and get some takeaways and he can be your guy to do that.
- Los Angeles Chargers, Jerry Tillery, DT, Notre Dame. Chargers are a big guy away from being a really great team. Tillery is 6’7” 305 lbs of whoop ass. Long arms and very strong. That 305 lbs is nothing but muscle and will only get bigger in the NFL.
- Kansas City Chiefs, Devin Bush, OLB, Michigan The Chiefs need defensive help extremely bad. They will take the most talented defensive player that is left on the board that that is Bush which is a great pick up. His football IQ is off the charts which means he could be a leader from day one. This man hits like a mac truck when blowing up plays. Gap shooting is great and even his coverage skills are incredible.
- Green Bay Packers, Brian Burns, DE, FSU. Burns had 10 sacks in 2018 which was 2n din the ACC only behind Clelin Ferell. Some back he lacks mass but he is a very fast and physical player. He beats blocks and keeps the run to the inside which what else can you ask for. Also did I mention he get SACKS.
- Los Angeles Rams, Nassir Adderley, FS. The Rams to not need much but it wouldn’t help getting another piece to an already great defense. Adderley is a player who has a very big range and is very athletic. He was a 2 star player in high school and is now on the verge of playing in the NFL.
- New England Patriots, Noah Fant, TE, Iowa Gronk will either retire or by traded just like most of the other former great Patriots and Fant is a type of guy who can be coached up by the best in the biz and fill that position. Let’s face it anyone who Bill drafts will be productive.
